Oklahoma City Home, Auto & Business Insurance

Oklahoma City Homeowners Insurance

Although home insurance is not required by law, most mortgage lenders require you to buy it before consenting to your loan. Home coverage is intended to cover the expenses of repair or replacement if your property or valuables are lost, damaged or destroyed resulting from a covered incident. Covered incidents generally include fire, windstorms, severe weather, theft and vandalism. Flood and earthquake insurance have to be bought separately.

Oklahoma City Auto Insurance

In Oklahoma, you are required to own car liability coverage, which covers the damages to others following an accident that you cause. However, considering the expense of cars and hospital care, the state requirements may not be enough to cover all of the damages. Remember, liability coverage will not cover your own injuries or property damage; it only serves your responsibility to others on the road.Speak with an agent to learn more about Oklahoma’s liability requirements and how you can get more widespread coverage by adding collision, comprehensive, medical expenses, uninsured driver etc. to your policy. The minimum amount of liability coverage in Oklahoma is 25/50/25.

Oklahoma requires that your liability insurance include the following minimum coverages per accident:

  • $25,000 for injury or death, per person.
  • $50,000 total for injury or death if multiple people were hurt in the accident.
  • $25,000 for property damage.

Oklahoma City Business Insurance

Running a business is a massive investment and one big loss can be financially devastating. Luckily, there are a host of business insurance policies offered to protect your company from such damages. Contact an agent for more details about state mandates in relation to workers compensation and disability insurance, along with a host of optional coverages designed to cover your business’ unique needs.
